Fundraising for a Good Cause!
On May 14th I will be running in the 10th Annual Fight It! 5k/10k Fundraiser for Cancer. This event is for the Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund’s annual fundraiser.
I am going to be running the 10K and even though its just me and not a group I want to be able to give a donation for such a great cause.
The Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund supports patients 18-40 years old, currently undergoing cancer treatment. It covers services to meet daily needs, such as home health care services, co-payments, temporary housing, rent, insurance, and food. The goal of Brenda’s Fund is to help young adults in treatment maintain self-respect and minimize the stress of associated financial challenges.
